What is expected of you?
As part of the job, you will be required to
- Provide visionary design leadership by mentoring and guiding a team of designers, fostering their growth, and nurturing a culture of design excellence.
- Define and execute a holistic design strategy that aligns with business objectives, user needs, and emerging industry trends, driving innovative product experiences.
- Lead user research initiatives, collaboratively work with cross-functional teams, and translate insights into empathetic, functional, and engaging design solutions.
- Oversee the development and refinement of an advanced design system, setting and enforcing design standards to ensure consistency and efficiency.
- Collaborate effectively with product managers, engineers, and executives, advocating for user-centered design principles and influencing strategic decisions.
- Guide the creation of sophisticated prototypes and lead user testing efforts, leveraging insights to evolve and refine design concepts iteratively.
- Stay on the forefront of design trends, emerging technologies, and industry best practices, infusing innovation into design processes and inspiring others.
- Represent the design team in high-level discussions, presenting design insights, influencing key stakeholders, and shaping company-wide design initiatives.
- Contribute to a positive and collaborative team environment, sharing ideas and knowledge to elevate the overall design capabilities of the team.

Requirements
Must have technical skills
- A bachelor's or master’s degree in design, Interaction Design, HCI, or a related field.
- Extensive experience in a Senior Lead Product Designer or equivalent role, showcasing a portfolio of impactful design projects and successful team leadership.
- Proficiency in design tools such as Figma, Sketch, or similar software.
- Mastery of user-centered design principles, design systems, and advanced usability testing methodologies.
- Exceptional leadership skills, with a proven record of leading and nurturing high-performing design teams.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation abilities, with the capacity to influence at executive levels.
- Strong strategic thinking combined with the ability to dive into hands-on design execution when needed.
- Demonstrated experience in agile development environments and cross functional collaboration.
