What is expected of you?
As part of the job, you will be required to
- Read everything in detail that comes your way.
- Define & document the test cases for application usability and behavior.
- Elicit, analyze, specify & validate business requirements with a focus on automated testing.
- Perform Functional, Integration, Usability, Smoke & Sanity and Load testing.
- Keep stakeholders informed about the status and progress of testing.
- Deliver client demonstrations showcasing new features.
- Keep up with the technology and the domain to upgrade your capabilities in the area of testing.
- Clear and concise communication of bugs, issues, and test results to developers and stakeholders using bug tracking tools.
- Collaborate with the development team during brainstorming sessions to provide business insights and suggest improvements proactively during the design phase.
- Develop and maintain scripts to automate repetitive tasks.

Requirements
Must have technical skills
- Three years of experience manual testing (Proficiency in creating and executing test plans and cases).
- Hands-on experience with defect-tracking tools (e.g., Jira, DevOps).
- Hands-on experience with Quality Assurance methodologies, STLC, and agile processes.
- Knowledge of Usability testing.
- Deep understanding of any one of the programming languages such as Java, java script or python.
- Deep understanding of testing frameworks like selenium, Karate framework, BDD, Robot framework.
- Basic Knowledge of SQL and DB testing.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and Problem-solving skills.
- Familiarity with tools like JMeter, LoadRunner.
- Familiarity with tools like Postman, REST Assured, or SoapUI.
- Understanding of REST services.
- Hands-on experience on version control systems like – Git
Good to have Skills
- Knowledge of advanced performance testing techniques and tools like JMeter or LoadRunner.
- Understanding of security testing concepts and tools like OWASP ZAP to identify vulnerabilities.
- Working knowledge of API automation testing.
- Automation tool: Selenium/TestNG (Preferred)
- Exposure to any CI/CD tools like Azure DevOps, Jenkins for automated testing integration.
